Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using Go Audit-IQ ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of an audit firm, you confirm that you have authority to bind that firm to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Go Audit-IQ is a cloud-based audit management platform that enables professional audit firms to manage engagements, workpapers, team members, and client records. The Platform is provided on a subscription basis and is intended for use on desktop browsers only.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Each firm account is managed by a Lead Partner who is responsible for all activity under that account.
• You must not share your login credentials or allow unauthorised access to your account.
• You must notify us immediately at mail@goauditiq.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

• New accounts receive a 30-day Pro trial at no charge. No payment is required to activate the trial.
• After the trial period, continued access to the workspace requires an active paid subscription.
• Subscription fees are billed annually and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Payments are processed by BudPay. By subscribing, you agree to BudPay's payment terms.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to registered users.
• Failure to maintain an active subscription will suspend workspace access. Your data will be preserved for 90 days after expiry before being subject to deletion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful professional audit purposes. You must not:

• Upload or store data that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Platform or any part of it.
• Use the Platform to store or process data in violation of applicable data protection laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other firms' data or the Platform's infrastructure.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Platform.

6. Your Data

You own all audit data, documents, and records you create or upload to the Platform. By using the Platform you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service. We do not use your client or engagement data for any purpose beyond operating the Platform. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Confidentiality

We understand that audit data is highly sensitive. We treat all firm and client data as strictly confidential and will not disclose it to any third party except as required by law or with your explicit written consent.

8. Availability and Support

We aim to maintain high platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to carry out maintenance, which may result in temporary downtime. We will endeavour to provide advance notice for planned maintenance. Support is available via email at mail@goauditiq.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Audit-IQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including loss of data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the workspace ceases immediately. Data export requests must be made before termination.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
